D'Arcangelo - Eksel (CD)
Eksel is a compilation of tracks from the brothers Fabrizio and Marco D’Arcangelo which reflects all the peculiarities of the D’ Arcangelo electronic project for old and new generations of braindancers. 13 tracks including ‘Distant Sound of Nothing More’, a tribute to composer LUPIi (1908-1971) and his theories on gravitational harmony, the highly melodic ‘Stepping Out’ and ‘Grey Sunday’ featuring classic synths and sequencers, ‘Nadine’ and ‘H13’ reminiscent of their previous album, and last but not least, ‘Irko’ is the exception, an experimental and frantic track characterized by a rhythmic crescendo.
