Good compilation featuring artists either from Detroit, or heavily inspired by it. Shawn Rudiman, DJ T-1000, Loner.9, Wave Effect and Altroy. While there has been a resurgence of interest over the last few years in what is often considered to be the birthplace of 'true techno', many of the proponents of the 'nu-Detroit' sound seem to have lost the rawness and energy that was so often integral to those early productions.
