Sometimes there are questions that demand answers. Questions that strike to the core of one's
beliefs. The ''Abandoned Buildings in Mono'' series returns, this time, with a question. As the
social, mental, educational and economic destruction of Detroit continues, many are forced to
question the one thing that has carried generations through turbulent times in the past. The
Church has been the cornerstone of many communities throughout history, yet what does it mean
when the institutions of faith turn and run from the difficulties Detroit faces? In the face
of the religious abandonment of the city at an increasing rate, some have been forced to ask
the question, HAS GOD LEFT DETROIT?
