Matt Chester - Desert Shift

After a two year break, 11th hour is back with a devastating new 12'' from London’s Matt Chester. Dune Decay kicks off, a melting sonic soundscape of huge, endlessly shifting melodies set to a overdriven beat and haunted vocals. Hunter takes things deeper and tougher, swirling pads and delayed lead lines giving way to a thumping sub bass kick and rising pulses. On the flipside, Desertification provides the most upfront dancefloor moment, a nasty P-funk groove setting up a searing organ solo and rough strings, whilst Sub Saharan hits back with a gritty motor city electro jam featuring a driving, rocky groove and some downright nutty synths.
