Ryo Murakami

Ryo Murakami is a fresh talent from Tokyo, Japan. ''Rise'' is Ryo's first full release on Dessous. A percussive beat gently moves the rather reduced title track forward and an airy house chord nicely dances on the dark but deep tune. The Stockholm based duo Bangana contributes a brilliant remix of Rise. The two only took very few sounds from the original and deliver a complete new rhythm and an almost completely new song. Moodwise Ryo Murakami's second track ''Monument'' is located somewhere between ''Rise'' and it's Bangana remix. Still deep and dark, but with a more housey vibe.
