Detroit Underground legendary compilation series comes with the ninth edition. Featuring some of the label's biggest artists, namely Funkstorung, Richard Devine and Jimmy Edgar, the ninth edition sees the label return to its more experimental roots after a successful, albeit brief foray into a more hip-hop and club-oriented music in the series' seventh and eighth editions. While number nine, still puts you on the dance-floor, the release's forays into IDM, Acid and Experimental sounds recall earlier DU records and further Detroit Underground's reputation as a label that is not afraid to take chances.
