With their new album in the bag and slated for release this September, and a wealth of festival appearances on the horizon for the coming months, Metronomy drop new single ‘Holiday’ this July. Lyrically, it may be a humourous spotlight on fairly commonplace relationship-induced tensions, but sonically, ‘Holiday’ flies the flag for the darker, disenchanted elements of Metronomy’s new long player.
