The opening cut ‘Magnificent Disco’ is a wonderful mix of elements (both sampled and played) taken from their beloved Konk, The Clash and Kool and the Gang which are worked into a sublime disco work out . While on the flip it’s Aretha Franklin’s ‘Jump To It’ which gets reworked and extended into a hip disco joint that has echoes of Atlantic Conveyor’s crossover classic ‘We Are’.
