Red Rack'em - Place For Me / Chinese Electro

Place For Me is Detroit inspired heads down, cut up Motown soul business and fits perfectly into that crossover space between slo-mo House and disco. Chinese Electro on the flip however, references that authentic early 80's new wave electro sound, and is influenced by Yellow Magic Orchestra and recordings from new wave radio shows like Belgium’s Liaison Dangereuses. It’s the kind of track that sounds like you might have heard it on a Baldelli mix from '81. And that bassline defines the term ‘wonky’. Strictly for use in discotheques both sides are dancefloor destruction guaranteed! Tip!!
