Low Volume
The Dhaba E.P.
FOF ploughs a furrow through the hazier realms of dance music, the ethos more focused on the 'after party' than the main dance floor & the emphasis being on dubby beats and deep musical treats in all their various forms. Each release is pressed on coloured vinyl on an ultra limited run, all the time eschewing the need for presence in an already over crowded digital domain by being STRICTLY VINYL ONLY! Low Volume produce their 2nd release for the vinyl only FOF? imprint - this release being pressed up on white vinyl. 'Kheema' follows on nicely from the reductionist style of their first release with a hazy, hypnotic groove that shimmers and shines in oh so subtle ways. Flipside track 'Pulao' ups the ante, bringing a vast amount more energy to proceedings. Tough drums give it a real peak time intensity while the muted synth work imbues it with a sense of moodiness that makes it sound as good for home listening as it does for working the dancefloor.
