Kicks off with ‘Soul Changin’ a brilliant par-tay startin’ mash-up of Brass Construction’s ‘Changin’ and Eric B & Rakim’s classic ‘I Know You Got Soul’, followed by the awesome low slung groove of ‘Cosmic Funk’. Next under the scalpel are The Jacksons with a super-funky edit of ‘Music Takin’ Over’, a lost disco gem from their ‘Goin’ Places’ LP. And finally, the wonderful Afro disco groove of ‘Dakar Sound’, a very useful DJ-friendly edit of an unearthed Black Soul album track produced by masterful Tom Moulton. Top class!
