Drift and Expansion are tracks designed to represent a view of Earth from space. It was previously believed that the Earth was expanding and thus the continental land masses were moving as a result of this process. Modern scientific evidence does not support this idea, and the theory of plate tectonics is now almost universally accepted. This EP represents a view of the idea of these two disparate theories as if taken from the direct space around Earth.
