This London-based artist makes his first high profile release on ART's newly formed Dance Division Series. Messier 66 contains all the classic elements of pure dancefloor techno. Driving UR style beats merge with Basic Channel chord delays - all underpinned by a menacing acid line. Techno doesn't get any more Sci-Fi than the alien soundscapes of Anadine - it's classic Detroit-inspired string stabs and abstract vocal washes are highlights of a frantic, scattering track that will keep the feet busy on the dancefloor.
