Claremont 56 seem to have a passion for the unnoticed and the
unreleased, digging out gems from the past or oldies from the future.
Here we have Four Hands, a band from Newcastle who laid this gem
down in 1999. Sounding distinctly like an Adriatic sunset from 20 years
previous. From subtle beginnings this track doesn’t quite grow, it just drifts
beautifully along, from warm pads to a deeper swelling bass, overlaid
with delicate strings and languid orchestral touches. Four Hands deliver a
modern day masterpiece, with a timeless woozy morning feeling. This is
