It has been five years since the release of Kode9 and The Spaceape's searing first album ‘Memories Of The Future’. On this new recording, named after Kode9's influential 2009 single 'Black Sun', the intensity and themes of their debut remain, but the delivery is more rapid and with greater clarity, the beats more jagged and restless.
