The Chain

The Chain are Dan Foat and Nathan Boddy who control things at the R&S studio. Both initially DJs from a deep house background they have begun to explore the boundaries of electronic music outside of the confines of the 4/4. The EP ranges from the uncategorisable rolling, jilted live percussionof the title track and it’s deeper, glitchy dub to the post apocalyptic, post-hardcore onslaught of Maje which tips it’s hat to the heritage of the label.
