Heralding the birth of the first Leleka is a limited edition, hand stamped, two-tone vinyl release from the label's owner Vakula from Konotop.
These are an ideally captured Ukrainian landscape of change, struggle, nature and art slightly embellished by industrial design of the 50's. And this is what the Leleka label is all about, its musical concept reflects Vakula's love of folk and live music, where passions and melodies play leading roles.

This debut release contains six vintage tracks from Vakula. The meeting of imported soul, exploitation movies and detroit techno, with Ukrainian folk melodies and Soviet electronics, offers a glimpse into Vakula's way of working, and gives us a taste of things to come..
