seventeen-piece live disco band Escort arrive on sister label Nang via Red Music by popular demand with two of the most prevalent cuts from the album, Caméleon Chameleon & Starlight, remixed by Anglo-Japanese powerhouse Max Essa, and Red Records label boss and Ilija Rudman. Illija's cut of Caméleon Chameleon is as funky as they come, enveloping strains of the originalin his silken synth work and driving dance-floor percussion. Edits of Adeline Michèle's vocal hook are teased in throughout; beautifully done but never deriving from the fact that this is strict dancefloor stuff. Next up, Max Essa delivers a stomping rendition of long time favourite, Starlight. His cut stays true to the original, retaining vibe, funk and feeling, but giving it that subtle injection of House that's just made for peak time at the dance.
