Vinyl Only! At the time of releasing his debut album Prins Thomas was handling all the instruments his self. Nevertheless the idea allways existed to put together a proper band - consisting of professionals, but basically more like friends and friends of friends. Just for no other reason than having fun and jaming along like in the \''old days\''. And eventually ... the sparkling Prins Thomas Orkester was a result of this work. The tracks on the øVING EP are all reworks of the old back catalouge, recorded almost live in maximum two takes: slangemusikk, uggebugg and sauerkraut from the debut album - transformed into snake music, hamar bluesklubb and \''surkål\''. The last track Aril Moen is a new version of the 12\'' morfar. The whole thing got mixed by no other than Todd \''Terje\'' Olsen and mastered to perfection by Chris Sansom at Propeller Studios. You`ll be the judge to whether Prins Thomas Orkester succeeded - we surely enjoy it and quite much so!
