Title track Don't Get Me Wrong kicks off in true Recloose style showcasing perfectly his distinctive and diverse approach by melding together dusty disco, soulful house and synth-heavy jazz and funk with the greatest of ease. Shimmy is up next treading a similar path but bringing filtering stabs, gated vocal samples and a liquid bassline to the table. Recloose works the arrangement perfectly striking the balance between a rolling groove for the dancefloor, live-sounding drops and edits and spacey FX. All in all a high energy track with originality and flare. Finally we have D.O.G regular Tornado Wallace onboard to provide a remix which takes the original into far deeper territory. TW drops the BPM's, adds an arpeggiating marimba line and builds up the synths resulting in a late night vibe which compliments the vocal perfectly.
