Amen Brother launches with a debut release from their own Amen Brother Disco Band.
ABDB lines up a selection of lovingly amended tracks for different moments of the night while remaining true to Amen Brother's signature psychedelic sound.
The A side opens with the peak time rumbling and percussive sounds of \''Afreeka\'', an afro-esque track with hypnotic male vocal chants and rising melodies.
Side B kicks off with the raw phased guitar sounds of \''Gonna Get Some\'' and quickly moves into its sleezy funk groove and sassy female vocals. Rollin' & Sinkin', closes the B side with a catchy folk track whose funky guitar based groove and male vocal finish off the debut release perfectly.
