Federico Leocata's latest experiment on Abstract Forms is stunning. Drawing inspiration from the experimental style and themes of recurrence in Nietzsche's “Thus Spoke Zarathustra” (1883-1885), Leocata's EP is hypnotic and seductive. The EP harks to the work of the legendary Gerald Donald in guises such as Heinrich Mueller, Der Zyklus and Japanese Telecom - awesome and unmistakably futuristic sounds with natural funk and a sense of wonder and enlightenment.
