The work of prolific Brooklynite William Burnett, whose aliases include Willie Burns, Grackle, Speculator, Galaxy Toobin’ (with Eliot Lipp), PG&S (with Jorge Velez) and Smackulator (with Legowelt) is psychedelic in the truest sense of the world. Sprawled across six tracks, Burnett fuses various “outsider” loner genres unto one definitive vision quest all his own, that of the Black Deer.
