Axs

For the 25th entry in the long-running Bedroom Compost series, we have a special set of three Axs albums, packed to the brim with unreleased works from his personal archives. The first volume, Rosewood Secrets, is a lively collection of 9 tracks that bounce and subside with a monochromatic clarity. Familiar elements of dub and minimal techno are frequent, and Axs keeps things moving from track to track, making Rosewood a varied and fresh listen. Renewed by a concise remastering job (courtesy of The Analog Botanist) and augmented with the addition of two new tracks (Restored Picture A and B - available on CD only) which themselves are reconfigurations of old session materials, Rosewood Secrets reveals only the basic elements needed to fully exhibit the talent behind the Axs name.
