Mattheis / Oceanic

After the infinite arpeggios of Mattheis and the drum drive of Oceanic, the third installment on Nous'Klaer holds the middle right in between them. For this remix EP Mattheis and Oceanic exchanged tracks, and both came up with a new take on each other's work. Oceanic turns Blablavism up and strips it down to a welcome version for club play. Mattheis his version of Hidden Bero counts as a live kraut cover, barely using anything of the original, despite its mantric power. The result sounds like a mix of Steve Moore's analog trance, Andrew Weatherall's outer space DJ sets and cosmic Arabic synth music. Vinyl only!
