Kanttoripoika & Coco Bryce

After about a one year hiatus, Myor are back with a semi­ full length split album by Helsinki's master of the gloomy arts Kanttoripoika and label owner Coco Bryce respectively. On the a­side, Kanttoripoika serves up 5 Skweee ­infused instrumentals that wouldn't sound out of place scoring an episode of Twin Peaks, albeit in the best of Scandinavian lo fi funk traditions. On the flipside, Coco Bryce utilises a slightly more danceable approach, yet manages to stay well under a hundred bpm, mashing chopped Hindi samples, synthetic drums and an accordion into approximately 13 minutes of downtempo syncopation.
