Tommy Bones’ ‘Black Concept’ EP brings two tracks that give a modern edge to the classic soulful house sound. ‘Black Concept’ has a soothing, almost serene sound with the use of jazz influenced instrumental sample but also a beat that allows it to remain predominantly house track. ‘Put It On You’ is up-tempo with more of a club designed sound, the vocal of Lydia Rhodes has an almost seductive sound and the varied tempo gives a sound for the underground dancefloor.
