Regular studio sparring partners October and Borai rekindle their ongoing partnership for hometown label Happy Skull, eschewing the conventions of club-ready house and techno in favour of two decidedly dark Industrial interpretations. A-side ''Necessary Force'' echoes the jackin' throb of classic EBM, fusing titanium tuff percussion, aggressive analogue bass and a mind bending breakdown to create a hefty slab of hard wired funk. In comparison, flipside ''Nine Tomorrows'' is a more atmospheric excursion. Instinctively paranoid, it peppers a throbbing machine groove with cascading melodies and horror-influenced electronics to mesmerising effect.
