A classic of modern Gwo ka music: massed hand drums and percussion, beautiful call-and-response vocals, and keyboards along with electric bass. The opening tune, with its insistent nyabinghi-esque percussion and questing flute will appeal to admirers of Pharoah Sanders and Light of Saba. The entire album is wonderful, jazz-informed Afro-Carib collection of true spiritual sound. Vinyl only release on EM Record’s new subsidiary label EM Custom.
