Jacy - Somewhere In The Tapes

Jacy inaugurates the mysterious Kalahari Oyster Cult with 'Somewhere In The Tapes'. This audio artefact rumbles with bright and clean sounds. The influence of Chicago and Detroit is clear from the outset, rooted in the smooth and cerebral grooves of 'Parallel Trip'. Piano keys ebb and flow in the late night movements of 'Dancing About Bebu'. Those keys take centre stage for the house scented sounds of 'Piano Reprise'. Jacy comes full circle with the cruel and cold 'It's Not Hot But Hit (Disney Rave Mix)', a track of sinister synth stabs and spiralling samples. The Cult's first vinyl pearl.
