Tigris is an Afrodelic Power-Pop band composed of five unrestrained musicians, deeply influenced by Ethiopian, West African and even Caribbean sounds from the 70's as well as modern pop, electronic and rock music. The band strives to create an original futuristic mood-altering ear candy. The different musical background and virtuosity of each member produces together a unique sound of a new tribe that just been discovered in the deep jungles of the universe. Tigris have been playing in Clubs, Bars, Live Venues and Music Festivals all over Israel since 2014 and toured Germany in the summer of 2015. Tigris debut album, ''Gold'', was recorded live at Tigris home studios, mixed and mastered by the band members, creating their own unique sound. The album include nine instrumental pieces, seven originals and two fresh versions of famous EthiopianEritrean songs.
