The EP starts with driving kicks, hypnotic wandering synths and the noisy dissonant stabs of ‘Mandem’ before taking a more melancholy turn. ‘Shutter Windows’ slows things down with eerie echoes, dusty thudding kick drums and subtle synths before ‘Whiskey & White Women’ finishes the last of the originals with a drum track full of trippy percussion and masterful groove. Bad boy Keepsakes is back on the label after SLAM003 and finishes the EP with his take on ‘Shutter Windows’.
