*Repress* Finale Sessions are always ready to support emerging talent in their corner of deep house and techno, and so it goes with Pola who pops up with a clean slate on the 34 Sessions EP. Even if the artist is a newcomer, they clearly have a gift for crafting the kind of kinetic, immersive body music that Finale is known for. ''Fallen Idol'' keeps things funky and subtly dubbed out, while ''Winds Of Vengeance'' prefers a tougher rhythmic undercarriage and punchy acid lines. ''Reunion'' equally moves with purpose, but as with the other tracks on the record there's plenty of soul to match the intensity.
