Arpanet
Quantum Transposition.
''Quantum Transposition'' follows up on their ''Wireless Internet'', released in 2002. On this new album we find a strange mixture of advanced scientific and mathematical allusions, highly eclectic and unusual. Arpanet has developed a central concept and researched its parameters via sound lab research. This is sound science whereby the album has an aim, method, result and conclusion and contains an ideal mixture of abstract, more ambient like tracks on one hand and on the other, some seriously funky dance tracks. Nobody really knows who Arpanet are, rumours of involvement in Drexciya projects prevail and that they possibly released music as Dopplereffekt, Japanese Telecom and Der Zyklus.
