Daso

In the fall of 2007, a 26-year Cologne-based producer by the name of Daso Franke released his inaugural 12'' for Spectral Sound. On the A-side sat ''Meine,'' a euphoric eight-minute ascent that delighted dancefloors around the world. Looking back, Resident Advisor calls it ''one of the best tracks to emerge from the golden era of minimal techno.'' In April of 2018, Franke passed away after a long bout with cancer. With the support of his family and demand from fans, we are making the Meine Idee EP available again in memory of Daso's musical legacy. The repress is limited to an edition of 350 in our Spectral stock jacket series.
