''Everybody'' in its original form features a sparse instrumental with earthy beats and waves of strings and keys rolling in and out leaving loads of room for Courtney Jackson's faithful vocals. For his remix Amp Fiddler speeds things up a little, opting for a 4/4 beat that sounds like squeezed out of those early beatboxes as used by Sly Stone or Shuggie Otis. Underlined by a gritty live bass to wiggle dat ass, sweetend with dreamy fender and funked-up with frolicking clavichord in Stevie Wonder style this is another gumbo of traditional soul references and house beats as only some folks from Detroit can cook it up. ''The Feelingo Of Love'' on the flip starts out like a version of
''Everybody'' using the same minimalistic instrumental but with additional keys and now Anetria Wright shining brilliantly on mic duties. Amp Fiddler's version has a freaky P-funk slant to it with a digital bassline and frizzling synth lines.
