Notorious sonic shape-shifter Tadd Mullinix has joined up with long-time collaborator D’Marc Cantu to create 2 AM/FM, a new extension of the acid house built by the pioneers of the 1980s and 90s. Raw, polyrhythmic drum boxes underscore vampiric vocal treatments and cavernous synth lines that parallel Mullinix’s acclaimed work as James T. Cotton while staking a claim to the crate of any DJ worth his salt.
