A lovely project which hits a sweet spot - the subject of label tshirts. We all got them and we all cherish them as little relics of the labels and music that we love and that bring us so much joy! That proud feeling when we wear a shirt of our favourite label which is out of print for a long time... DJ Deep is one of the most respected DJ in our galaxy and avid record collector like many of us, and over the years he did build a nice collection of these little gems. As a dj he is recognized from Paris to Detroit, from Berlin to Tokyo, with more than 30 years of career, running his Deeply Rooted House label and always driven by his passion for music. This man shared a part of his closet and presents it in the form of a book. This is not an autobiography, but a summary, both musical and visual, of an infectious passion. A “guardian of the temple”, he defends cutting-edge electronic music steeped in history that he wants to pass on to as many people as possible. Each T-Shirt is an opportunity to share an anecdote about the label or the people behind the label and music and it comes along a playlist with music related to the tshirts created by DJ Deep himself.
