Prince Language has taken a small guitar-driven chunk of the lesser-known LP version of the NY Loft/Garage and Ron Hardy staple and re-edited it into a dancefloor bomb that's radically different from the original, complete with an insane guitar breakdown. This is a new disco not disco, punk-funk classic! ''Lollipop'' is an incredible edit from Atlanta house legend Kai Alce. This one is sleazy mid-tempo killer, with moody, floating Rhodes chords, a wicked vocal asking you to ''take a look inside your mind'', and an insistent 4/4 kick- drum. The edit has a heavy, super tracky Theo Parrish and Moodymann vibe, and is a must for fans of the Detroit Sound.
