Wanderwelle - Wat Gebeurde Er Met Sergeant Massuro? (LP)
Amsterdam based collective Wanderwelle presents an electro-acoustic adaptation of one of their favourite stories, ''Wat Gebeurde Er Met Sergeant Massuro?'' (''What Happened To Sergeant Massuro?''), a little-known tale by Dutch writer and storyteller Harry Mulisch.
Drawing upon a vast array of electronic and acoustic instruments, alongside archival and field recordings, Wanderwelle expanded the story's horizon with a sonic dimension. Given the deeply personal significance of Mulisch' story to the artists, it serves as the inaugural release for their label ''Maalstroom'', which is a public archive that will feature some of Wanderwelle's most personal projects.
