Pleasure Planet's kaleidoscopic debut album has been a long time coming, but good things come to those who wait.

Developed over years of late-night studio improvisations, 'Pleasure Planet' is an affectionate and colorful patchwork of the New York City-based trio's knotted influences that's suspended between the rave and the chill-out room, weaving glistening pads and chunky basslines into vocal earworms and warm, saturated rhythmic cycles. Bandmates Andrew Potter, Kim Ann Foxman and Brian Hersey enter into a lysergic dialog with their discrete personal musical histories, drawing inspiration from vintage EBM, ambient music and heady early '90s West Coast rave sounds and launching these classic elements into a transcendent new sonic universe.
