Weaving together the organic and synthetic, ‘Confluence’ is the debut EP by Australian artist bluhol, and the first of brand new Eora-based-label Oomycota. bluhol’s first offering, woven with shadowy themes and visionary electronic elements, transcends into a tale of the untamed bush.

Living nomadically on Australia’s eastern coast, Confluence is an extended sonic discussion of bluhol’s lifestyle. The EP, bluhol’s debut release, is defined as ‘a coming or flowing together, meeting, or gathering’ at one point. All too fitting as the debut release by label Oomycota, a brand new multidisciplinary project by Eora-based artists amuwa and Tangela, which establishes itself as an encapsulation of Australia’s often genre-redefining sounds.
