Vincent Koreman (Drvg Cvltvre / New York Haunted) on the Micodot tracks

If this release had dropped on Warp and had been labelled old, lost demos of Plastikman, nobody would question it. Because this EP has the same depth, lush hypnotic acid lines and deep pulsating rhythms as that one, without sounding like a copy.

Aether Cvltvre Gletcher (Aether & Drvg Cvltvre) it starts with echoing watery sounds before the rhythm sets the pace. While moody keys give us a break, the acid kicks in slowly. Further on the moodyness stays in the background while the lysergica comes flaring to the front. Hypnotic!

Aether & Rushkeeper Shitegeist. Leaning hard on EBM tropes and syncopated basslines, this swiftly veers into other directions while you listen. Subtle, yet pounding rhythmically, and with many small side steps and misdirections to keep you on your toes.

This is pure techno though, make no mistake, but easily transforms into deep acid, ambient and idm and classic melodic detroit stuff in the blink of an eye.
