Endell Street returns with another essential deep-dive into London's early 2000s tech house archives. The A-side unearths the long-lost TV Babies project and their 'Deeper Situation', a hidden treasure from some of the scene's most respected selectors, complete with gritty drums and a sense of swagger that is textbook for the era. On the flip, cult duo Peace Division's heavyweight remix of Smart Alex is more leggy and funky, with loopy kicks topped with wet cymbals, an eerie breakdown and a killer drop that is punchy and authentic, so it is likely to be huge all over again two decades on.
