Sofa Records and Les Disques Bongo Joe team up again for a new project exploring funky, synth-driven tape music from the Maghreb. This compilation brings together eight songs, delivering a Saharan pop sound melted with reggae, dub, new-wave and funk - by Yassine (Ahl) Nana, the iconic figure of Mauritanian pop music in the 1980s and 1990s.
