Following on from recent releases on Limousine Dream, Palace Trax, Bass Culture & more, the Studiotek Records boss delivers a driving low slung groover. Perfectly placed percussion sits on top of a rolling bass line, combining analogue warmth with techy futurism. A great tune for early on in the night as well as early the next morning, The Pyrotechnists is a perfect example of Darren’s knack for creating timeless tracks that do the business on the dancefloor.
Flip the record for a remix from Luke Humbles. With a string of releases under his belt from labels like Midnight Social & Symbiotical, this is the FUMP resident’s first production pressed to wax. In his trademark style, Luke pushes the energy of the original but retains the rolling groove. Sprinkled with psychedelic swooshes & trippy bleeps this remix is made for the heads down crew.
