Split 02 is the second chapter of Lowless Records’ split series: a limited 12? pairing Mersel and Anechoic, one artist per side, four tracks.

Two Parisians, friends of the label and friends of each other long before this record, making their vinyl debut here. The premise of the series is simple – two artists, one record, no compromise. Each side holds its own ground. Where Split 01 brought together Geinst and Simone Bauer, this volume moves into territories of light and perception: diffraction, halo, afterimage. One side stays sharp and still, the other bends, refracts, dissolves.

Mersel takes the A side with ‘Blessing’ and ‘Plaits Modulation’ – mental, hypnotic techno that never stops grooving.

Anechoic answers on the B with ‘A Fantasy’ and ‘Optical Irritation’, a trip that drifts from techno into trance.

Two digital-only bonus tracks complete the release.
