Late last year, long-serving Spanish producer Nacho Marco returned to Phonogramme in order to launch a new series of dub-fired deep house EPs, the appropriately titled Colors In Dub. Six months on, the Valencia-based artist is ready to drop volume two. He sets his stall out with 'Pitch Black', where drifting, dub techno style synth motifs and undulating, sun-soaked electronics rise above locked-in deep house beats and a warm, heady bassline. Steve Bug steps up to remix, going even deeper and more hypnotic while beefing up the bass. Over on side B, 'Strawberry Pink' is a more relaxed, woozy and glassy-eyed chunk of lightly dubby late-night deepness, while 'Tiger Orange' sees him pair driving deep house beats with mind-altering dub techno sonics.
