Eero Koivistoinen

Re-issue of a classic album from legendary Finnish sax player Eero Koivistoinen. For Children was a step to the new decade. Jazz funk had landed in Finland and Eero's new band Music Society employed Jukka Tolonen for guitar. It's relaxed yet funky rimshot-laden rhythm backs Eero's sax solo and make the track a unique jazz dance masterpiece very much in the vein of the best MPS-releases. The track is accompanied with Roots & Boots, a short epilogue that reworks the beautiful main theme.
