Reissue of the fourth in the BMB series this is recognized by many as a keypoint in the development of their sound. The brutal distorted beat attack of ‘Fist' builds over the course of the track, introducing squalls of noise like a ship being tossed in a violent ocean, before arriving at a relatively calm plateau. A distant foghorn calls, and then it's time to put your waterproofs on and head back to the harbour.‘Splinter' takes a more clinical industrial approach.. just as heavy, but with clipped beats and clever use of reverb and ambience to give the track a real sense of space.
